Spyro 3 is the third Spyro title to be brought to the Playstation. It has also been made available on the PSN. This was the last Spyro game that Insomniac Games produced.

[edit] The Start of the Story

Spyro, along with Hunter and the other dragons, are sleeping peacefully in the dragon realms. However, on the other side of the world, en evil sorceress (merely called `The Sorceress`) is planning to steal all the eggs with her assistant Bianca. She successfully steals all 151 eggs, but wakes up the dragons after stepping on Hunter's tail. With all the eggs gone, and the Year of the Dragon another 12 years away, the dragons send Spyro and Hunter to the Forgotten Worlds to retrieve the eggs; only because they were the only ones able to fit.

This game acts similar to the past two Spyro games. Spyro has kept his learned abilities from Spyro 2, and Sparx has lost his ability to track gems. However, he is able to play his own shooter-style games to retrieve many abilites, up to four. Spyro has also gained friends! These friends: Sheila the Kangaroo, Sgt. Byrd the Penguin, Bentley the Yeti, Agent 9 the Monkey, and of course, Sparx, have their own unique missions and controls, allowing you to play differently 5 times! (6 counting Spyro)

Moneybags returns, again seeking money. However, at the end, you get to have a little fun...
New levels and enemies.
151 eggs to collect, plus a secret level containing the last egg.
New allies that help with the end-world boss.
Levels are now divided into worlds to play. Rescue allies to help advance to the next world!
20,000 gems to collect, and a hidden level containing the last 5,000
