Gnasty Gnorc is, as his name implies, a Gnorc. He is the main antagonist in Spyro the Dragon and the first homeworld boss in Spyro: A Hero's Tail.

Gnasty Gnorc first appeared in Spyro the Dragon as the final boss. Jealous of the dragons and their beautiful treasure and enraged that a dragon referred to him as "ugly," he used a spell to crystallize the dragons and a second spell to turn their gems into his Gnorc minions. In Spyro the Dragon, it was up to Spyro, the only dragon left uncrystallized, to save the other dragons and recover the treasure.

Gnasty Gnorc appeared for a second time in Spyro: A Hero's Tail as the first boss and a servant of the evil Red.
