After collecting all the talismans in Summer Forest, the player must defeat Crush to move to the next homeworld.

[edit] Gulp

After collecting all the talismans in Autumn Plains, the player must defeat Gulp to continue to the next world.

[edit] Ripto

In the last homeworld, Winter Tundra, Ripto has locked himself in a tower that will only open when the player has collected 40 orbs. Ripto is the final boss in Spyro 2.
